Pregnancy Test HELP!!?

my girlfriend and i had sex last march 18 Wednesday. She's supposed to have her period on march 25 Wednesday. it's been 4 days late now, can she be pregnant? when is the best time to use a home pregnancy test to find out? HEEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!
we used a pregnancy test just now march 28 Saturday, and it shows a negative.
 
5 days before your missed period or 2 weeks after having sex take another one u should always take 2-3 more 3 becuase even if it says + they can be deffective if it says plus again if you tak it right now..go to planned parenthood today ..
