I'm not very far along, only about seven weeks now, but for the past week, I get very sharp pains in my lower abdomen. It first started on the right side but then it would be on the left and sometimes in the middle. It usually occurs during straining, like during my violent bouts of vomiting or coughing, but occasionally when not straining at all. I have two children already so I understand some discomfort is to be expected, and I have a high pain threshold. However, this pain will double me over at times or if I'm vomiting, I will just curl my knees into my chest to try to relieve the pain. I considered an ectopic but that wouldn't explain pain on both sides. I considered it also being a cyst that ruptured like with my first pregnancy, but yet again both sides. No other symptoms either.
As I said, I've had two children, but my symptoms are incredibly worse this pregnancy. I've never had the horrific vomiting or constipation. My breasts are so tender I can't wear a bra. Granted my oldest just turned 9 and my youngest is 6. I'm 30 this go round so my bodys not as resilient this go round. Maybe that's a factor? Any advice or experience with this?
