prednisone HELP

my dermatologist gave me prednisone 5mg for skin athma for 10days.
1st day is 1tab
2nd day is 2tabs
3rd day is 2tabs
4th day is 3tabs
5th day is 3tabs
6th day is 3 tabs
7th day is 2tabs
8th day is 2tabs
9th day is 1tab
10th day is 1tab


will i get side effects for taking this drug? i am very worried and i hope somebody will help me. this is my 4th day.

No you should not, but what is the dosage, what mg are you taking ?

It can elevate your blood pressure. Keep an eye on that.

5mg. is that safe?

5 mg is a pretty low dose. I've taken as much as 60 in one day, when I swelled up from rashes. The risks of taking 5 or even 15 mg for a week or two are minimal.

You might be hungrier, or a little cranky. Other than that, you shouldn't notice much.
