the formula is h(t)=-4.9t^2+vt+h
where h(t)=height
t=seconds
v=velocity
h=initial height
the question says one half second after springing from a high diving board, a diver reaches her highest point above water, 4.225m. if the diving board is 3m above water, how long is the diver in the air?
this question makes no sense to me it asks about time but what you have to solve for is velocity because its the only thing left out of the components of the equation help please !
