My daughter is 12, 13 in December. She's in the 7th grade and around this summer, began to go on GROUP outings without adults. (a mall in a safe part of town, the movies, the pool) She was never embarrassed for me to drop her off and pick her up, but now that her friends are riding with mostly older siblings, she's becoming embarrassed.
