This book randomly popped into my head and I can't remember the title! Here's what I remember from the story:
Two girls (friends) are living together in a futuristic society. When they were old women about to die they underwent a process that made them un-age. Now, they are in their mid-teens. They have their old diaries from when they originally grew up. For some reason, they decide to run away from where they are living. They end up going to some desert, then finally some mountain town with attempts to hide from the satellites that are searching for them. There's something about a super Walmart or Kmart or something of that fashion in the mountain place. They end up going to the childhood home of one of the girls and meet the current woman who lives there. They tell her their story and she agrees to be a mother figure to them when they become toddlers to babies.
That's all I can really remember. I think there may have been a sequel coming out, because I remember the ending being very much of a cliffhanger. Thanks in advance!
