Im 15, (turning 16 in 2 months) and decided to try and get a PPL. I am not sure if I want to go commercial yet, but definately start with the PPL. There is a small airport near me (15 min) which also supports flight training which certifies you. Its Westchester Airport in NY, (HPN). Do they allow "Newbies" like me to just go and roam around and get a feel of what it would be like if I chose to get schooled there. I would be going with a relative, who was a pilot for 32 of 747's if all that matters.
