Pre-season track ideas?

I'm in basketball season still. But I want to start training for track season which will be starting in a couple of months. I run all sprints but this year I am focusing on 200m and 400m. Being 5'7" and 110lbs and a girl I'm not very big for a sprinter. Right now i am working out for my PE class and also basketball, I just feel like I'm not working on the stuff that will help me in my events. So please anything will help. Thanks
