THE FOLLOW UP TITLE from Halo developer Bungie called Destiny can be pre-ordered now from selected retailers.
The game is due out next year and will launch on the Playstation 3 (PS3) and Playstation 4 (PS4) before other hardware. Bungie celebrated the US launch of the PS4 today and expressed its pleasure to be on it.
Anyone that really wants to play the game can pre-order it now. Pre-order it from the right places and you could get early access to the beta.
Bungie has an information website to show you where you can do this in your location.
In the UK we were offered sales at Amazon, Game, Sainsbury's, ASDA and others. The game is priced at about £40 for present generation versions and £50 for the PS4 and Xbox One, regardless of where you get it.
The beta is expected to be out early next year. Xbox punters will get their mitts on it once the Playstation exclusivity deal comes to an end.
A trailer is available with gameplay, along with the faces of all the people who worked on it.
"The launch of the Playstation 4 opens the door to the next generation frontier of action and adventure," said the firm. "Though our team couldn't make the trip to New York City, we celebrated alongside the Playstation Nation back here at the studio with a brief look at some new in-engine footage from Destiny."
Beta codes are available while stocks last. Anyone who ordered before 1 October should check their receipts, packaging or emails, as they should already include a beta code. µ
