Pre-med student, very nervous?

I am pre-med right now. I'm going to begin applying to schools this summer (2011). I am so nervous about if I should attempt to do this. I question my intelligence. I am smart, but I have to work to be smart. It doesn't come naturally. I have a few questions for any medical school students and/or graduates pertaining to ...my fear, the difficulty of medschool, and life after...any help out there?
