She does NOT have to do ANY pre-law studies at all to get in to law school. All she needs is a degree with a high GPA. She needs to choose a major she is comfortable with and will excel in so that she can get the highest GPA possible. She also needs to choose electives in Logic and at least two Writing Intensive courses. Those will help her to get a high score on the LSAT exam (which she must take before applying to law school). She should also get involved in at least one student volunteer organization so that she can show involvement in her community when she makes her application. This involvement needs to continue for each year of college.
No Law School in the USA or abroad requires ANY particular undergraduate program of study at all. They just require a high LSAT score and a high GPA. She should keep her GPA above 3.5 at all times. If she has any questions, I would be more than happy to talk to her about them. You can send me an e-mail through my Answers Profile page.
I went to law school, and now I am a practicing attorney. I remain involved with the school that I graduated from, as well as my undergraduate institution.
