Pre-Law, a walkthrough?

She does NOT have to do ANY pre-law studies at all to get in to law school. All she needs is a degree with a high GPA. She needs to choose a major she is comfortable with and will excel in so that she can get the highest GPA possible. She also needs to choose electives in Logic and at least two Writing Intensive courses. Those will help her to get a high score on the LSAT exam (which she must take before applying to law school). She should also get involved in at least one student volunteer organization so that she can show involvement in her community when she makes her application. This involvement needs to continue for each year of college.

No Law School in the USA or abroad requires ANY particular undergraduate program of study at all. They just require a high LSAT score and a high GPA. She should keep her GPA above 3.5 at all times. I went to law school, and now I am a practicing attorney. I remain involved with the school that I graduated from, as well as my undergraduate institution.
 
Hi, I'm posting a question for my cousin. She's going to college this fall and is planning on doing pre-law. She is still a bit unsure of the process, and I have no idea. She said she's looked online, but these sources have been mediocre, at best.

I was hoping there was some one out there who has gone through the pre-law process, gotten into a good law school, etc. who could explain, as best as possible, the process of pre-law? Also, what major you chose?

Please don't post answers telling me to go online and look at some websites. I'm looking for some one with first-hand experience who can clarify the process for her. Thanks!!
