...course to start in january? So i am a single mom of an 11 month old baby boy. I have been off work for more than a year now and i have been waiting 2 years to continue my education. I was working as a personal support worker for 3 years and have always wanted to go back for nursing. I need my science and math credits for the nursing program and i finally got accepted into the pre health science program for january. The issue i am having with that is...i got into a car accident in the begining of the summer and sustained 10 different back injuries some of which have healed and some of which have worsen. Being a nurse is hard on your back and i might not be able to do it if my back doesnt heal.
I also got into a program called emergency telecommunications which is 911 dispatch. This program excites me and interests me very much and it is only a 15 week program in which i would want to continue my education with many other intervention type certificates i just dont know if there are any jobs oppertunities in this field in ontario and im debating whether it is a waste of money or not.
Any oppinions or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
