Ok so i went to the doctor today and they were checking my vitals and my blood pressure seemed to be higher thank usual. Ok so my baby is very small for her gestational age, im right at 36 wks and she only weighs 4pd5oz.. the doctor wants to induce on the 31st, in my 39th week.. well he asked me to give a urine sample so he could check my protein levels? well i did and he came back with 2 nurses and said that my protein was a little off balance and started explaining stuff about pre-eclampsia and the signs and symptoms and how its diagnosed and what it is.. blah blah blah. he started asking me questions about if i have had abdominal pain, headaches, blurred vision, changes in urine input/output all that great stuff..... well ive had blurred vision, and abdominal pain and my blood pressure was high and the protein in my urine was abnormal.. i looked up pre-eclampsia symptioms and it sounds like i may have it. he has me monitoring my urine output for the next 24 hours and im suppost to take it back in Thursday to have it tested.. if they test this urine sample and my blood pressure is still high, they are going to induce. So tell me this, by the sounds of it, do you think i may have pre-eclampsia?? i mean it sounds like it but im not sure. this is just 1 of many problems ive had with this pregnancy, and they cannot figure out why she is not growing right, ive gained 38 pounds in 36 weeks, and shes only 4pd5oz!! please help meeeee!
