Next summer (2011), I plan on taking a trip to Europe with a few friends (if their parents let them). It will be the summer before our freshman year of college, and so we will be between the ages of 18 and 19. I was wondering if anyone has any tips? Route ideas? Etc. Any advice is welcome.
We were thinking that Eurorail global pass was the way to go, after flying from the US to London. There are a few thing that we really want on the trip.
1. We want to have nightlife. We want to go to a lot of clubs and cities known for being party destinations... any idea which cities to hit?
2. So far the only countries we have on our must-do list are Portugal, Spain, and France. Any ideas which other countries to go to?
3. We want to see as much as possible, meaning as many countries as possible, over as much of Europe as possible.
