The intensity "i" of light received from a source varies inversely as the square of the distance d from the source. If the light intensity is 6 foot-candles at 12 feet, find the light intensity at 13 feet.
I have no idea how to set it up, I tried using a proportion with 6/12=x/13 but I thought it was too simple and it didn't follow the rules of their relationship.
Thank you so much for your help!
