Pre-calc questions regarding radians and distance length and circles?

I am having a lot of problems with these math questions, I would like for people to explain how they get their answers please. If you can only answer one that still helps a lot. Thanks!

1. Find the endpoint of the radius of the unit circle that makes an angle of -(5pi/4) with the positive horizontal axis. (I have no idea where to even start on this one)

2. Find all y such that the distance between the points (1, 5) and (-5, y) is 15. (I tried making an equation for this one and I couldn't figure it out. I got to 36 + (y-5)^2 = 15, but I think I'm way off).

3. Find the point (0, b) on the y-axis that is equidistant from the points (5, 5) and (5, -4). (No idea, tried using the formula I found on a ton of websites and I end up subtracting all the x's and it doesn't work..)

4. Find the point on the line y = 2 x - 4 in the xy-plane that is closest to the point (6,1).

5. Suppose a rope is just long enough to cover the equator of the Earth. About how much longer would the rope need to be so that it could be suspended 14 feet above the entire equator?

6. Find the radius of a circle that has circumference 18 more than its diameter.
