I have a test tomorrow but I learned this stuff like in January and forgot most of it. Please teach me how to do it.
Test the following equation for symmetry and intercept.
x^2 + y^2 = 25
Write the equation of the circle.
x^2 + y^2 + 8x - 2y + 8 = 0
A line has slope of 2/3 and passes through the point (5,3)
- Write the equation of the parallel line through (4,7)
- Write the equation of the perpendicular line though (4,7)
Thank you..!
and
i still don't understand symmetry and intercept. How do you find one for y = x^3 + 3? i know it doesn't have a symmetry cuz it's x^3 but idk about the intercept. Is it only (0,3)?
