Here is the original problem: Solve the equation for all exact (no decimal) solutions angels between interval [0,2pi).
Equation: sin4x=-2sin2x
I know how to set up the equation, but I'm forgetting the algebra that has to do with this...
so how do i combine sin4x + 2sin2x ?
Do I even need to combine them? If not, how do I solve this? (my pre-ap precal teacher taught this and about 5 other concepts in 10 minutes, so it was pretty brief, I don't need for someone to just do the problem, I want to understand it so please give me steps).
