I test drove a 4runner today and of cours the buyer wasn't telling me everything but here's what I observed. First the radiator only had water in it. Second and most troubling after running the engine and driving a couple miles I checked the oil and it had tiny little bubbles it also read tremendously high, I wiped it off and checke again and it was crazy crazy high still with tiny bubbles, no froth on the stick of the cap but the oil did smell really old. Also there like a faint sloshing/scratching noise not a sharp scratch noise bit it's coming from the front bottom of the engine am I just paranoid? It has 160 k miles. I'm thinking the bad oil and maybe overfill causes churning and hence the little bubbles can anyone tell me their experience before I buy this tomorrow??
