pre approved credit cards?

im looking for a way to get pre approved credit card online and looking for a good recommendation from someone here on where and what kind of card to get. I havent had good experiences with credit cards, i have paid them all off but i to me credit cards are evil, they can find a way to screw you so easy i had suspicions that my last card which was captiol one kept saying they werent getting my bill on time just to add the late fee to it cause id mail it like a week in advance and for like 3 months straight they said it was late and id always pay like 3-5 times more than the credit limit to get it paid off and everytime they zapped with that so called late fee its like the debt stayed even i could never make up ground so i had to wait and use all my tax return to get out of it so i am not a fan of credit cards from experience but i moved to memphis here recently to join an americorp program away from all my friends and family and now im thinking it may be nice to have an emergency credit card in case things get a little rough and i need it so are there any suggestions on an easy card that i will be pre approved of that is a loyal company that i have a lower chance of getting screwed, if there is one with all that and airline bonuses like to eventually get tickets i would like that too given it would be nice to use to visit my friends and family every now and then but no airline bonuses isnt a deal breaker really just need a reliable emergency credit card, any help will be greatly appreciated! thanks alot
