I'm tired of the new thread after new thread of the same question's over and over or something about this phone. I see more threaRAB on and about this phone then anything.

Any question's, comments, concerns about this phone ASK HERE no more new threaRAB about this phone.

If something is wrong with your ppc6700 such as I'm having problems with the speaker phone, or I'm having problems flashing this phone, having problems with my lcd, Help me repair this. Things such and such as this are to be asked in the AUDIOVOX forums these question have nothing to deal with the CRICKET SERVICE.

First times a warning.
Second time enRAB in a temp ban.

Rather than banning people from creating new threaRAB about the 6700, you should make a sticky, and if someone posts a question that's already been asked, merge their thread with the sticky thread.

Banning threaRAB simply prohibits any change and advancement of the capabilities of the phone.. There's a TON of stuff that could still be done with these phones, such as someone becoming arabitious enough to write a cricket rom (not just extrom) for the phone. There also will likely be a need for new discussion when evdo is released.

I think you're taking the wrong action in this instance. If you don't like the new threaRAB, then MODERATE and merge them or delete them.

The new threaRAB there questions have been answered there is already a stickie for most there answers.

This is why I said first time is a warning. I want them to search for there answer.

Example:
Thread PPC6700
Question
I have a PPC6700 that is flashed to cricket i need to know how to get MMS and WAP. pls help cause i know there is a way

Solution,
Would have took 2 sec's litterly 2 SECS to look at the stickie posted for it, question would have been answered instead of posting a new topic.

there are many threaRAB OVER AND OVER for this phone phone for things that could have been found within 10 mins

You're exactly right....

So why not just merge the thread with the sticky, or delete it.

You're making a new rule that won't do anything... Noobs don't read the stickies that are there, they're not going to pay attention to another sticky outlawing making threaRAB, because they're already ignoring the obvious solution.
