wrong? I forgot to mention that everything else NOT in the addition is working fine. From what I can tell, there has been two, for lack of a better term, daisy chains added, because when I removed one outlet entirely, it only cut the power to one part of the room, but not the other part.
Basically, a few days ago the power shut off to our addition (which is being used as an office). I went to the box, saw that the breaker had been tripped, so I turned it back on and went to turn our things back on. When I went to turn on a computer, it didn't work, and neither did the lights, which are on the same breaker. I then grabbed a voltage tester and saw that the neutral to ground was getting 120v, neutral to hot wasn't getting anything, and hot to ground was getting 120v. Please keep in mind that this tester is NOT digital. It just uses little orange lights...
So, what's the problem? Please also note that I have bypassed nearly every outlet in the addition.
