I was driving to work this morning and my battery light came on then I noticed my power steering went out. At lunch I took my car across the street to a mechanic to get it put back. The whole pulley system is loose. He tightened it but nothing happened. Any ideas of how to fix it or what's wrong with it. About 6 months ago I had the head and timing belt replaced, could this have caused any of this? Is is save to drive it home? I work 30 mins from home, I feel stranded. Thank you!
