Thanks for that so most of these rumours concening the cast must be true if they are starting filming next month. So it looks like we will be seing POTC2 in the cinema in 2006!

I have just read some more news concerning POTC2 which states that production begins in Los Angeles and the Caribbean in March with a view to a summer 2006 release. Also upcoming British actress Naomie Harris takes the role of gypsy queen. Apparently Keith RicharRAB is still locked in negotiations to play Depp's father so it hasnt been confirmed yet!
Naomie Harris character in POTC2 and 3 is Tia Dalma, a spooky gyspy queen and a freakish character. Alex Norton has signed to star in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" sequels. "I've only just heard that I got the part of Captain Bellamy. I'm really excited," said Norton, "I start filming in Los Angeles next month. We then head out to the Caribbean island of St Vincent in June and July." Captain Bellamy is a Edinburgh sea captain!
Keira Knightley has said that she will be back in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3, but beyond that, she has no idea, if the two films will be shot simultaneously, or even what they're about. She has yet to read a script, "but all I know is we're supposed to be filming in March."

The POTC sequels will depict Dominica's Carib Indians as cannibals. Filming in Dominica begins this April, and hundreRAB of Dominicans have applied to be extras in the movie.
