My fiance and I just started having sex again 3 weeks after our daughter was born. I know that most doctors say to wait 6 weeks.. but I've also heard that it is okay to resume intercourse when you feel physically and emotionally ready.. My delivery was uncomplicated, I had no stitches, and my bleeding stopped a little over a week after I delivered so I felt okay to start up again.
We've had sex three times so far and it's been all good.. then I started spotting this morning and it's gotten heavier throughout the day.. but still just light bleeding.. no pain during sex.. and no pain at all after.
Is this normal? Could it be the sign of a problem? Or could my period be coming back this soon.. since i am not breast feeding?
