been reading up on other wireless carriers and I think I may be switching over to Verizon Wireless. I'd basically be paying the same amount that I'm paying right now, but I'd be getting a lot more features.
I really liked the plans that Amp'd has to offer, unfortunately there are no Amp'd stores in my area. :bulging:
So does switching to Verizon sound good? :hehehe:

seriously though, have you checked out ampd? if you want to keep unlimited with a national calling area, they are probably the way to go. they use veizon's network, so excellent coverage, but the plans are not retarded(IMHO =p )

get unlimited forever +overdose, $15 for unlimted text and picture messaging and it'll be like 134 a month +tax and fees. you'll have all the goodies except PTT(which i still think is lame until it works inter-carrier). if you don't care about the video and stuff then just take overload it'll save you $5 a month and is the cheapest I know of to get nationwide unlimited.
 
ew I had verizon.. it was cheaper to cancek my contract with verizon and pay their cancellaton fee than to rather keep paying 150 a month. They have no unlimited messaging, no unlimted pic. No unlimited minutes. The service signal is awesome but cricket is very good in my area.. only think I liked was the phone. But sheesh 150 a month!!! OMG
 
Well Amp'd do they allow roaming or does it cost extra?

Nextel has an unlimited cellular/PTT plan for 99.99! - that is a good deal too...
 
If you have AMP'd you're getting Verizon's network along with their roaming partners like Alltel. Not only that, but from what I've heard that calls to VZW's customers count as IN for VZW people.
