I've been taking classes at my local community college for the past year and a half now and have been receiving financial aid thanks to my parents. However, over time my parents have received promotions/better job and are now getting payed more than what's required to receive aid. Basically they make too much to qualify.
However, my parents still can not afford to pay for my classes and books what with the economy in its current state, and the fact that they still have to pay off 2 cars, house, and other bills. The extra money they are earning is just barely enough to pay for my classes.
So.. is it still possible to receive aid given these conditions? If so, how do I go about doing it? What do I ask my schools financial aid office?
