Possible to find '96-00 Honda Civic for less than $2000?

Im getting my license in a few months, so Ive started to save up. Im not sure if my parents are going to help me buy it or not, but lets just say their not, and I save up around $1600. Would that be enough to get me a decent '96-00 Honda Civic? I know there are a lot of factors, but just in general.
