Hi, about 6 months ago i broke up with my fiance. it affected me severely and i had sort of a mini nervous breakdown. since then i have had been having very bad anxiety problems and a constant feeling of butterflies in my tummy. eventually i got really bad stomach pains, and had to see a doctor and he said i probably have an ulcer. the doc said he wont give me an endoscopy because in the UK where i live everything is socialized and they want to spend as little money as possible. he says statistically its unlike that i have stomach cancer at my age(just turned 34), however cancer is a worry for me because my dad and uncle both died of it at 53. does anyone think my doctor is half assing it and i should get a second opinion? thanks.
