My explorer has been working fine, until I went to work the other night. I went to start it and the dome lights, radio, heater, etc. all worked fine, but when I turned the ignition it would just "click". Desperate to get home, I had tried to jump it, and no, it was not a dead battery. After continually turning the key to get the same "click" every time, it suddenly started right up. Over the last 24 hours it is still starting fine, but with fear of being stranded at work an hour from home I wont drive it. My explorer has a new battery, and alternator. Someone mentioned the solenoid, and someone else said the starter. With just starting a new job I don't have the cash to mess around with possible options. So my question is, what is the problem, and where in the hell is the solenoid located?
