my wife is 24 weeks pregnant with twin girls. she had got an infection of the kidneys--pyelonephritis, which has been taken care of. she got checked a week later and we found out that her cervix had effaced to 0.5cm. A week later it thickened to 1cm. things were looking great. Then the following week, the cervix had DIALATED to 2cm. Is it possible for the cervix to close back up? What can we do to keep the babies in there as long as possible? Does anyone know any good preemie baby websites with pictures and statistics?
