Possible Hernia?

I recently had lapriscopic surgery. I now have a lump inside my belly button. It's hard, turning purple, and hurts. Could this be a hernia? I have a picture of it, but cant post it. I'll send you a private message of what it looks like. If anyone can help, it would be helpful
 
I would definitely report this to your surgeon.

After I had hernia surgery 6 years ago there were times where the sensation was felt again, but upon examination the surgeon felt that it was probably the mesh curling inside, but a lump and turning purple, pain? Talk to your surgeon as soon as possible.
