I really need some ideas as to what I should do with my life as far as far as either getting a new job or starting my own business. I am in my early 20's and recently left one of a few dead end jobs after a year or so as the workload had died due to the current economy I suppose.
The problem is that I am one of them people who NEVER has a single idea as to what they wanted to do when they grew up. When I was at school, most of my friends had things that they wanted to be (teacher, builder, engineer etc) whereas I could never think of anything. Obviously im not alone in that, but looking back, it really has negatively affected my life. I bummed around in college and got an average qualification in IT which i wasn't the slightest bit interested in, but felt I had to do something and some of my friends were doing it!
Anyway, fast forward, I want a job/carreer that I enjoy. I dont have any real qualifications to speak of (some IT but nothing fantastic and im not at all interested in it anyway)
Someone asked me to tell them my interests....I guess they are animals (i love animals), Daytrading stocks/futures (I have done this on and off as a way to earn extra money and i find it fascinating), sports, cooking (I like to cook - and am told that i am quite good), fitness.
Can anyone think of a good job that might suit me that doesn't require qualification but that in time, i could earn OK money?
How about working for myself? any ideas, and advice on amount of starting capital required?
