Position of Sensor Bar?

i can't seem to figure out where to put it, I have a 46 inch Dlp toshiba and when i put the sensor bar on top of the t.v. it seems kinda awkward, but when i put it the sensor bar below the t.v. it seems wierd..

i think i need to get use to it for awhile to see

where do you guys have your sensor bar at?
 
me and my friends have been using it above. I think any akwardness is just how you're using the controller..

It took me a while to get used to stuff, and some of their recommendations aren't very good or don't work well.

For instance, we figured out in golf, it's a lot easier/less glitchy to hold the 'mote like a tv remote, and move it backwards/forwards, works much better than actually swinging.

Other things though, like batting, seem to work best when you're doing it exactly like a real bat.
