I don't think i have seen a more tense film. Once the tension gets going, it never stops. Of course there are some stupid parts( the end was hilarious), i thought that the capsizing scene was brilliantly done. I wish fergie did'nt snuff it though. They could have gave her a bigger role. Some may compare it to titanic but it reminRAB me more of deep rising.
 
who ever compared this movie to Titanic should really be sent away - away from watching films! im not a fan of Titanic at all - but this barral of crap isnt a patch - nor anything like it. the original was so much better. in fact - they shouldnt have remade it! how could Kurt Russell do it!
 
Saw this on DVD a few weeks back. Not exactly high art, and not a patch on the original, but enjoyable enough. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be considering the reviews it got when it was released in cinemas.
 
remeber going to see this at the cinema! missed the first 10 mins as hubby forgot the time it started (even though he was the one who had done the programme for the showing times!! :p ) so we got in just before the wave happened! :p :rolleyes: :p

but i liked it! typical disaster film, of course nothing like the original version but thats fine i dont like direct copies anyway!

was good enough for me to decide to buy it and i then got to see the first 10 mins that i had missed!! :D
