Holy crap... using tethering I was able to use pidgin to connect to aim, granted I had to set the proxy to wap.mycricket.com:8080 but used to you couldn't. *ponders if digsby has a proxy setting*. I wonder which ports are open now..

I just tried changing my WAP proxy port settings to 21 (standard FTP). No dice.

I'm on an HTC Touch with the 1050 PRL in sunny, pleasant Dayton, Ohio.

You have to leave the proxy to port 8080, and IRC WORKS... looks like they unblocked most ports if not all as long as you use their proxy..
