I was asked to take the photos for an eighth grade prom. I am not a professional photographer, but am wanting to go into it. Anyway, I will be taking posed portraits, with I don't know what for a background, and I'm almost sure that the lighting will not be for photos, if that makes sense..but I was just wanting to know what I could use for lighting, props, background, anything like that, that I or someone might have, instead of spending a bunch of money on all that stuff. I have a Sony Alpha 300, with only a built on flash, and I have a tripod, if this is going to affect anything..
