I currently have T-Mobile and my 2 year contract expires March 12. I'm switching over to Virgin Mobile's $25 a month plan. I ordered the phone already, just because I couldn't wait (typical teenager lol). I'm going to end up porting my T-Mobile number to the new phone, but I was wondering if I have to wait until my contract is up?
I was assuming I would, since if you're transferring a number to another company, it's basically cancelling your number with the first company. And I don't want to port it before my contract is up and then deal with early contract termination charges.
I don't think I can do it before my contract is up without recieving fees, but you never know, so I decided to ask.
