Popular Films You Don't Like

For me it's got to be all the "Lord Of The Rings" films.

I've tryed to watch the first one at least 3 times just to see what all the fuss was about. Each and every time i've either walked out of the room (if somebody else was watching it) or switched it off.

I found it so!!! boring and dull. I've never tryed the second one, but my brother was watching the 3rd one once and I just fell asleep, woke up 2 hours later and the bloody thing was still on.

Don't count sheep, watch Lord Of The Rings... ;)

Cant stand any Jim Carrey Movies.
Scream
Spiderman.
Horror movies
Road Trip
American Pie Series. First one was ok but after that .. rubbish.

I was going to say the same thing when I saw the title of this thread!!! I always assumed I was the only one who thought this about LOTR trilogy!

I've got all the extended editions of the films (which merely adRAB to the injury, not aid it), and whilst I appreciate the quality of the effects, I can't help but find that ultimately they are quite....boring films. I know they are hugely successful, but I get the feeling they are films that people say they like to comply, but would they watch them over and over again? I doubt it....

I think that the LOTR films are ok, very slow paced though, and hugely overrated. Shows that unbeatable special effects, great cast, an unparralleled budget doesn't always make films "fun" and "exciting"....

Rain Man was OK, but I couldn't get into it and I changed channel half way through.

Also, I defy any autistic person not to jump up, throw their shoe at the screen and shout that Raymond is NOT high-functioning as the film says, he is more or less worst case scenario!

American Beauty
Gladiator
Raging Bull
The English Patient
The Hours
Leaving Las Vegas

Why is it that films which win loaRAB of Oscars and other awarRAB make me fall asleep,or make me totally depressed?

What!!! Generations is the best! Nemesis was quite good, Insurrection was almost quite good, but First Contact was AWFUL! But I agree that Final Frontier was the worst (apart from that scene when the vulcan tries to take away Kirks suffering - that was the only good bit in it).

Four weddings and a funeral - not one laugh in it (not for me anyway)

Close encounters of the 3rd kind - boring, boring , boring

Matrix - boring, pointless and pretentious

Batman Begins
King Kong (new one)
Million Dollar Baby
The Queen
The Godfather (it's just boring, especially compared to Goodfellas)
Donnie Darko
The Sound of Music
Moulin Rouge

All the Rocky films, the Rambo films, Matrix 2 and 3 (just so disappointing after the first one).

Not particularly a fan of gangster/mob/mafia films or Westerns either.
