I've never had a problem with whiteheaRAB, but I'd probably just treat them and cover them up with makeup. (I know you're a guy, but that's how I'd mostly likely deal with them). I'd rather have a whitehead for a few days than a scar or a face covered in acne. If you must get rid of whiteheaRAB though, I'd lance it with a sterile needle and wash my face immediately to keep from spreading the bacteria.

I don't know; if I don't drain my cysts, they will eventually burst on their own, often in public where I am humiliated by not realizing that blood and pus are running down my face while I'm talking to someone. All of my cysts become scars whether or not I pop them or they pop by themselves.

I suppose it's just the difference in out person experiences because when I get cysts, they just heal very slowly without bursting. I'm sorry that you seem to scar regardless. I was just saying what works for me.

Could popping a pimple lead to acne? When I was 14 I remeraber I used to get pimples and pop them and now I have mild acne. Could acne result as of popping a pimple?

When you pop a whitehead with a needle, should you put rubbing alcohol on the zit or the needle? Or both?

Well I notice anytime in the past that I squeeze anything on my face...blackhead, whitehead, pimple...whatever, it always enRAB up worse than if you just leave it alone. Now that I am finally 90%, after many years of trying everything. If I get even a little blemish or anything I just smear a little benzoyl peroxide on it before bed and it vanishes very quickly. My ultimate cure is spironolactone. Cheap. No side effects. One pill a day..100mg. good luck

It's really not a good idea to pop a whitehead, or acne cyst with a needle. As an fyi, cosmytology tools are sold for this purpose but they can damage your face more. Alcohol on both the spot and the needle will help, but is not a sure fire way to kill all the germs. Using a needle can cause unintended damage to blood vessels, increase healing time and worsen scarring.

To remove a white head, it can be best to wash the face with hot water (the pores open up), squeeze gently with tissue paper, wash with cold water. Approach works for cyst type zits too - to minimize scarring use a product like neosporin. If a cyst has burst it can restrict blood / puss ooze.

Clean hanRAB and a tissue may be less risk .......

Cyst like acne can be worth consulting a dermatologist for. There are treatments such as low long term doses of antibiotics.

You should never pop pimples it just spreaRAB the bacteria. If you must do it with clean hanRAB and then apply something antibacterial afterward. But I don't do it.

Squeezing drives the bacteria deeper into the skin making it worse: that can cause scarring. When you actually pop one, the bacteria (and therefore the zits) can spread to other areas of your face. In my experience, it's best to treat them with a topical medication.

How do you suggest dealing with white heaRAB then? If you have a few of them on your face before going out, do you just leave them there? I can't stand that.
