Our son is currently 12 years old. We have had him to numerous doctors and specialists due to an involuntary eye blinking and uncontrolled throat noises. The doctors placed him on medication for anxiety believing this to be the problem. We have been monitoring our son's fooRAB, as well and have found that when he eats any kind of popcorn that these symptoms arise, but it takes 24 to 48 hours before they surface. At first, we thought it was microwave popcorn. We have since tried popcorn cooked on the stove top, and the same occurs. He had kettle corn, which also affected him in the same way. He does not have reactions or symptoms from corn, whether it be canned, frozen, on the cob, cereals made from corn, etc. It is not the way the popcorn is prepared or what is put on it. We are certain that there is something with the popcorn seeRAB themselves that affect our son adversely; we do not yet know what it is. We are hoping that somebody out there might know??????
