pop ups causing problems on internet?

so I keep getting internet explorer pop ups that just show up randomly saying i won something or that there was an error. i never use ie but I am useing fire fox opera safari and chrome. I have pop up blockers turned on on all of them. I also ran maleware bytes and well and mcaffe and its saying there r no viruses. is there something I can do? Im seeing a bunch of pop ups on all sites i go to. im useing windows 7
