Americans are able to make note of every one of their precious troops that die during brutal military invasions of poor countries. But who can actually name a civilian that died?
Who can name at least ONE person that died in a house raid in the dead of night just a few weeks ago? Or the pregnant Iraqi woman that died on the way to the hospital to give birth because she was shot by our terrorists - I MEAN troops?
Hawkeye - you're right, names are very hard to remember. I should have worded the question as "who cares about the civilian deaths in Iraq or Afghanistan?". I bet hardly anyone does. And that is just the issue. WE are the invaders. THEY are the ones defending their country. Our troops have no rights and it is beyond obviously about building a massive oil pipeline.
