Hello everyone,
I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix SE 3.1.
I have noticed some things going on with my car and would like some advice from someone that knows a little more than I do. Heres the first thing thats going on. When I am at a dead stop with the car running and in drive, when I let off the brake the car wants to pulse forward instead of that smooth role farward motion when letting of the brake. I have replaced sparkplugs and wires, IAC valve, TPS, and fuel filter. Any ideas? The next issue I have is when I go from a dead stop and have a hard acceleration I get a fibration/shimmy at around 30-40mph, I have noticed that the fibration/shimmy can began to continue as I drive but only gets worse when I acceleration. Could this be a simple balance and alignment issue? or could it be a CV joint, bad motor mount or something else? Thanks for your help and advice.
How would a transmission fluid change and filter change help with this?
