Pontiac Grand Prix GTP car trouble?

One night a few weeks ago I left for work and was about 5 miles down the road and my car lost power and the lights dimmed...for only a second. and it was like, "I'm dying, no I'm not, yes I am, no I'm not--and it didn't. Tonight, I felt the power loss for like one second and then the "service engine soon" light came on and went back off after a minute but I took the car back home anyway. Does anyone have an idea of what is going on?
 
i would check to see if you have a loose wire harness somewhere. the computer down under your dash and then under the hood.... if its loose it could cause this... start with that before spending any money....
