Ok so my car does a lot of weird stuff. i have had it for about 3 years now. First, the ABS Trac OFF and Service engine soon light is always on. A mechanic told me I needed a new wheel bearing. Did it, did not work. Then my turn signal clicker clicks constantly not in any certain pattern its just every so often it will start clicking a lot. Then sometimes I go to start my car and it will not start. The security light comes on and the car will turn over and try to start but does not fire up. I would like to get the security light problem fixed more than anything. Also, sometimes it will shift really hard and other times it does not. Some people have suggested to me that it might be the computer?

Start with the BASICS. Remove and clean the battery cables at BOTH ends. If they are frayed, replace them. All the computerized accessories rely on stable voltage supply to work correctly. Your security system is preventing the car from starting. The trans is electronically controlled. Start with a thorough engine cleaning with GUNK orange at a DIY car wash. Be sure the alternator is showroom clean. Use CRC electronic spray as a follow up. Perhaps the wheel bearing was not done correctly, and the ABS sensor on this side is acting up. Have your OBD II computer scanned for free at Auto Zone. Good luck!!

It think you got own when bying that car.... , cuz youre citing many different problems here. First the flasher thing, is probably condensation on the electrical pannel , so change it or try to remove all the moisture from it.

Then its your abs sensor thats messed up , probably from the wheel bearing thing you cited.

Car will not start might be the engine wire harness that is chaffed, faulty sensors, electrical shorts, burnt fuse..... , maybe the computer but i doubt it.

The check engine should be the o2 sensor that needs to be changed.

Plus this model had issues with collant leaks leak and brake noise . so do your homework and make and inspection of your car.

Plus Water leaks under the door and onto the floor due to a bad door gasket. A countermeasure gasket is being installed under warranty. (1999-2000) so tha could explain a lot of stuff if it leaked on shorted stuff.

Hope that helped you a bit.
