Pontiac Firebird Formula transmission problems?

I have a 94 firebird formula. Just recently, the car when accelerating hard from a stop will slip into neutral and then right back into drive after a second or two. It only seems to do it when the car isnt warmed up and has only done it like 3 or 4 times in the past couple weeks. Anybody have any idea what the problem is?
 
sounds like the tranny needs to be serviced. new fluid/filter. add some lucas tranny trmnt. perhaps torque converter is planning to crap out.
