Pontiac coupe help?!?

Ok today i was at the grocery store and saw an awesome pontiac. It looked like a G8 but it was a coupe. So i had no idea which model it was but it had the 2 slits on the hood above the pontiac logo just like a G8. I thought it was a G6 but i'm pretty sure that they don't have the slits on the hood.

Please put the car model, year, and any other info regarding the car. Thanks!!
 
there are 2 hoods that look like the G8 hood for the G6. 1 is the GXP hood. the other is the AIT hood. the full AIT kit is modeled after the G6 GXP Concept car. the kit is available for both the sedans and coupes. check the link, this might be similar to what you saw.

It was probably a 04-06 GTO, they came with stock Hood Scoops.
Maybe a higher trim level 2dr G6 GXP or GT maybe, they came with hood scoops. 05-09. That would be my second guess.
Also could be an 97-02 2dr Grand Prix with an aftermarket hood.
Maybe a Grand Am GT with hood scoops. 99-05
Dought it was an 05-09 2dr G5, but maybe i wasn't there.
My money is on the GTO, its not a car you see everyday so its possible your not familier with the car. In my opinion its the most like a G8.
