up and down.? I have added more coolant to the cold fill line but it continues to flash "low coolant" and now the temperature gauge is going up quickly and then falling just as quickly. Anyone have a potential diagnosis of my problem?

Thank You

Replace your thermostat and make sure the cooling system is full and bled of any air. Then remove the sensor from you reservoir and try cleaning it. If you cannot clean it, replace it. This should cure your problem.

You are low on coolant in the radiator. When car is cool, take off radiator cap and fill radiator with coolant. Start car and wait for coolant to start flowing as car warms and thermostat opens. Top off radiator and put cap back on. Make sure reservoir is up to where it should be.
Check coolant at the radiator daily until you're sure you don't have a leak.
