I need to fill 3mm wide and aprox 5mm deep square trenches/gaps in MDF with a coloured filler compound - I have used polycell filler with a small amount of paint and there is no problem but too much emulsion paint in the mix will break down/collapse once dry leaving small holes.
Is there anything I can include in the mix which will bound everything together better once dry. I tried wood-glue which isn't bad but really need something better. Ideally I need the compound to be as liquid as possible so it will flow into the gaps easier
It's being used for a unusual design project.
